Nerve zaps! Don't worry about electricity. Angry nerves can tingle, zap, burn, ache, buzz... And hip surgery stirs them up from your waist to your toes.

Yes - the nerves definitely get frazzled. I'm almost 2 months since the surgery and I am slowly regaining 'normal' feeling in my operated leg. Sometimes I feel a twitch or tingle, to me that just signifies that the wound area is healing. My doctor warned me that the nerves could take years to recover...but I'm feeling progress already.
