@marcia115 I agree with the salt rinse. The oncologists I worked with had us using equal parts salt and baking soda. Worked great. May I ask about the tooth extraction? The dentist said that your immune system may have been affected by the shingles. You want to be positive that all infection has left your body because a tooth extraction leaves an open wound.
Can you ask the dentist if he would give you a prescription for an antibiotic?

I will have a temporary inlay put in, for 4 months until it heals, I have one now because
I lost a tooth to bacon and I tried to get the bacon out, and it was a root canal tooth so thank
goodness it didn't hurt, I think this is the tooth next to it. He gave me a Zpack, but I can't use it
just yet because I have to have a colonoscopy on Monday, after that I will take it till Friday
when I have the tooth pulled. Turn 82 and all kind of sh.. happens
