Hi, Kathleenia, I accept your apology, and now I offer you mine.
Thank you for sharing the information. The advances in medical treatments is and for amazing. I am happy to live in this age of innovations. I hope and pray that the timing for FDA approval will come soon.

How are you feeling during this interim? And how are you being monitored now that your kidney has been rejected? I honestly do not know what this experience might be like for you. I appreciate learning from/with you.

There has been a flurry of activity in the Kidney and Bladder Group, where some members are discussing CKD diets. I want to share these with you, just in case you have something to share, or if you are looking for information. I am finding it extremely interesting. I have a feeling that you have a wealth of knowledge from your 14 year kidney history.

Hello, Rosemary.

You had asked how I felt after the kidney rejection. It is a long story of ups and downs.

When my transplanted kidney relected, I went on dialysis.Six years later, I experienced extreme pain in my lower right side. My urologist thought it was a bladder problem brcause I was passing blood from my bladder. Turns out it was my old transplant disentegrating, I also had to consider having my bladder removed which would have been a HUGE mistake. They removed the decaying kidney and it truly knocked me off my feet. Now, six months later, I am okay. If someone with a transplant has severe pain,DO NOT assume it is the bladder.

I am content now, waiting for the bioartificial kidney. I am also living happy now with a husband who is wonderful.

Please take care and be happy.

Kathleen
