Anyone experience lower legs and feet red and splotchy? It's since my covid flare up in June 2022 and hasn't gone away.

Actually it's more red/purple. And when I was sick with covid I had really purple toes and feet, ie., covid toes. It was quite scary. I assumed it would go away, but it is still there to remind me.

My toes and half of my foot range from bright red to purple. I also have thick mucus in my throat. I live in a very small remote town, and when I go to the Doctors and mention Long Covid, they look at me like I am crazy. They only recommended vitamins to support my Immune system that cost me an arm and a leg....with No results.
Now I am starting to see red splotches in my arms.
So.... I have no way to get any verification to be diagnosed with Long Covid.

I had covid toes..went to a foot doctor last week..he said he really could not do much for the covid toes and the pain in my right foot, but he suggested that I buy some blue foot accomodators insoles. It was amazing the difference they made for me. I can now walk without the pain. I bought them at the park nicollet Health and care store in st louis park minnesota. They are made by a company named allimed..my spelling might not be correct on the company name but it is close. My nurse found them on the internet also. They are around $17 on up depending where you get them from. They are insoles and they took the pressure off my toes and foot. My toes are still pretty inflammed, but I have a lot of inflammation from that Covid. I did get a positive diagnosis of long haul covid at Mayo in Rochester Mn. kitty2

Nope, not me. It started after my Epstein Barr Virus reactivated from having covid. It felt like my body just blew up. But the rash(?) spots/blotches have never gone away. Looking forward to having research to come to some conclusions on what is going on and help get us better!

My left foot has discoloration that fades and comes back. It doesn’t affect me but I don’t know what is causing it. I was diagnosed with lymphedema after Covid, so I wear thigh high compression stockings every day to keep the leg from swelling down. I also use a compression pump for an hour every night after dinner. These have kept the swelling down.

Thanks for sharing a remedy that worked. I had lots of inflammation after the jab and the last 3 months or so have started to notice blood pooling and swelling in my legs. I get random spots of leg pains in the afternoon/evening after standing/walking during the day (I dont sit at a desk for work) and thought maybe this was microclotting?? I can tell my circulation is much poorer than pre jab bc my feet are cold even during the warm summer months and Ive never had that issue before.

My doc recommended a slow flow Naltrexone to calm the immune system inflammation. Haven't taken it yet but I'll keep you posted if this helps the leg swelling or general inflammation.
