Hello, I realize this is an older post, but your situation is so similar to mine, that I could have written it!
I had an anterior first and then a posterior revision which made it worse. I've been told there's a thick band of scar tissue deep into the bone and there's no solution! Have you had any luck finding a solution?

Hello @lafromli, Welcome to Connect. I'm not sure anyone is following this discussion but you might want to read through the following discussion and see if it helpful.

I'm not sure if you saw my post above but thought I would repeat a link just in case it might help. Here's an article that may give a better explanation on pain caused by scar tissue and how it's diagnosed – Why Scar Tissue Pain Occurs and What You Can Do About It: https://www.healthline.com/health/scar-tissue-pain.

Also, @jenniferhunter started a discussion on Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR) that you might find helpful here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/myofascial-release-therapy-mfr-for-treating-compression-and-pain/.

Have you heard of or tried MFR therapy?
