Good question! Personally I don't know the answer, possibly feel better while getting the oxygen, but might shutdown my breathing completely. I have autoimmune disorders, arthritic and respiratory.
Would need a medical assessment if this treatment and a pro and con discussion.

@abhishek80 I’m sorry if I don’t seem very helpful, but I’m having difficulty understanding what you are asking/needing. Have you been seeing a doctor and gotten a diagnosis? What has your doctor said? We’re not doctors so we need lots of information so we can connect you with other members who have similar needs. Are you able to give any more specific information?
Oxygen therapy can mean many things--what, specifically, are you considering?
I haven’t tried oxygen therapy but I will ask my internist. I have experienced poor breathing for my entire life (78th birthday 🥳 this July 4). Only recently have I learned the proper breathing techniques, which have had a positive effect. Thank you 🙏🏻
I am currently on oxygen therapy for my legs I have pyoderma gangrenosum on both my legs. We just found out a diffinitiv diagnosis 5 months ago. I'm not sure if it's working or not. I have been doing it for just over a month. 2 hours each leg that's a total of 4 hours a day plus 1 and a half hours of bandage changes
Not the traditional O2thearpy but interesting story. I have my teeth cleaned using oxygenated water and baking soda. The morning after I always wake up less stiff and with less pain.

One of my physician's PAs told me her daughter has autoimmune issues and tried hyperbaric oxygen chamber for muscle fatigue. Said it helped. But I know nothing else about it. Perhaps worth looking into?
I haven’t tried any hyperbaric oxygen chamber but I’ve been most fortunate to at age 77 finally learned to breathe, an art I’ve been trying to learn for my entire life.

Hello I have IPF .I use O2 Occ. When I get SOB. I have gotten used to the SOB But I have developed this dry cough. To the point I feel like I might pass out. I have tried everything including Tessalon 200 mg cap. Are there any suggestions I might try. I keeps me awake most of the night. Thank you Claire

Please keep me posted. Like so many mysterious events in medicine a treatment may work here but not there.
