My first experience with ulcers, bleeding ulcers, was when I was just 29. My ulcer returned a few other times in my life, but medication set it right. Mine was due to stress every time.
Does your Mom see a gastroenterologist? He specializes in the entire digestive system and can be very precise about your Mom's ulcer. I can be cured. The size and location matter, but today there are excellent medications to help her. He can also tell if it is cancerous.
Hopefully, you can be referred to a specialist. My best💞
is there anywhere in the support groups that can help with trying to figure out my husbands cancer. he is diagnosed with stage 4 stomach gastric cancer, it is non treatable, and he has started 48hour chemo treatments. he had to get a J-Tube and a G-tube put in and for those reasons i can find no one who has both of those tubes and stomach cancer for support and questions. i know people have G-Tubes for feeding but this is not the case.
I would love some help and insight on this as it feels so lonely when even the nurses seem a bit perplexed on the tubes.
Thanking you in advance for any help i can get

@evynosuonta, here is an article that might shed some light on the differences between

Treatment for peptic ulcers depends on the cause. Do they know the cause of your mum's ulcer? What treatment has she had?
