Undiagnosed patient

I need information hoping u can help my sister in law had stomach pains went to er and now is in ICU ct of stomach n head normal eeg normal spinal tap no meningitis mri head normal blood work no bacteria nothing however still very sick just laying there not responding she is in hospital in Atlanta doctors can’t figure out what’s wrong have u heard of anything like this any ideas or suggestions or what we can do? All test normal so far . Also I found out she was exposed to a lot of mold in her home has been sick off and on over years going to a lot of drs and test all normal. I read about mycotoxin poisoning which she has alot of the symptoms listed. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated

I posted info about sister in law been in icu since may 29 started with stomach pains now not responding opens eyes but stares doctors can’t figure out what’s wrong all test normal has anyone had same experience have any answers we are desperate for any info that can help she is 73 my brother n her married 50 yrs

Are you with the Mayo Clinic? Would my brother be able to do a virtual consult or the dr? I think the dr there is supposed to be in contact with the Mayo Clinic

Hi, Alex. There are circumstances where virtual appointments are possible at Mayo Clinic. When the Federal health emergency was lifted May 11th, 2023, access to virtual appointments changed across the nation. Not all appointments are permitted virtually.

Mayo Clinic welcomes both new and existing patients for virtual and in-person care in adherence with federal and state executive orders and guidance. Virtual care is available for out-of-state patients IF the provider you are seeing is licensed in the state where you live.

Your sister-in-law's doctors may have access to the physician network at Mayo Clinic to consult Mayo experts physician team to physician team.

We are so worried and desperately seeking answers not sure what to do or who to turn to the drs here are running a lot of test but finding nothing. There has to be a specialist or someone who can help. Not sure what to do
