Turkey tail is thought to augment chemo effects but no controlled studies being done on many potentially effective alternative therapies. Hopefully there will be more investigations done on natural products yet with no profit possibilities.
"How long can you live with Stage IV Prostate Cancer" are words I've learned not to say and a question I've learned not to ask. So I have replaced them with these words. "How well can I live today?" "What can I do to help make this world a bit better today." I understand what three oncologists and a bunch of oncology nurses have told me. "I've got this thing that can never be cured; it can only be treated."
Like many other Stage IV buddies, have discovered living well works best. That means a Wellness Program of nutrition, not diets, exercise and intentional movements, Spirituality practiced daily, and Friendship. So you, like me, can become the best version of ourselves forever.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 with numerous Mets in bones. Started treatment with Lupron in November 2022 and added zytiga January 2023. Also started provicto Jan 2023. Psa undetectable lesions improved as per comparison scans. We seem to be at same starting point.
It is like that, it only matters today, if we are in good shape and living well, that is what it matters!
