MGUS and restless leg syndrome

Hi Arti4,
I was experiencing allot of bad itching before my Et/Jak2 diagnosis and my dermatologist called it Puritis (we were unaware of anything deeper) and prescribed Gabapentin which my wife also has taken for her neuropathy from chemo. It actually worked well and a side benefit was my restless leg syndrome that would keep me up many a night diminished. Now that my itching is under more control seemingly from my Interferon therapy, the RLS comes back about once a week. I take a Gabapentin am hour before bed time and it helps relieve the numbing restlessness and I can sleep. Of course our bodies are all different and very complicated so while this seems to be beneficial in my case, may not be for others, but just wanted to share my experience in case there's a thread of hope for a fellow sufferer out there. May be worthwhile to run it by your Dr's. Blessings all!

Thank you for that. Haven’t tried Gabapentin. Definitely worth mentioning to Dr.
