Same here Debbie. I like the All of Us Research project and also want to help. I am a little apprehensive switching to the Fitbit. Early on when they first came out I bought one for my wife and it didn't last long and always had a charging problem. I ended up getting her an Apple watch which she likes much better. There are a few apps on my iWatch that I will probably miss but the battery in the Fitbit lasts longer so that will be a big plus.

I seem to have to charge about every 5 days. I’ve switched from Fitbit to Garmin once, and they all seemed to last about a year early on. Fitbit replaced a couple for free early on when they didn’t seem to last, but I have been glad all data stays in history. I have had much better luck with each one, and this latest has an EKG function free. I know earlier models (I tend to buy least expensive) say they’re not waterproof, and I know it’s easy to forget to take off in showers and the pool sometimes. I never remove when washing dishes. But I think they’re getting better at actually being more water protective. You’d think by now Fitbit would be encouraging swimming, so maybe these lower end models are better now? Garmin only lasted 5 months for me. With this Fitbit, I do find sometimes synching will take extremely long or return an error. That seems to happen after an IPhone update, or maybe a Fitbit update. I now just go ahead and uninstall the Fitbit app on my phone, then reinstall it, and it starts synching things quickly again (and no setup required to reinstall, and no data lost) I have been tempted by the Apple Watch but won’t consider while using this Fitbit for All of Us.
