Gee, Mikaylar, what a situation.
I wish I could express my sympathy as well and as beautifully as the other folks who have replied...

Here are some "action" ideas on the property, if you feel up to them. Don't blame you one bit if you don't want to read any more advice on what to do. And maybe you've already thought of them. I'm going to write them just in case they do help.

Can you donate the property to an organization that accepts property? Or to the township for a green space?
Can you sell it fast to one of those companies that buy houses as is?
If the property is still unused, it might be a real kindness to all of the neighbors to sell it to someone who could fix it or raze it. Like in "Forrest Gump," it might be helpful to see it torn down- or to see it built back up for other people to use.

Those headaches sound like hell. So sorry for all of it.

Wishing peace to you.

My brother's house and 2 others were flattened to the ground. The ones on either side are being rebuilt. I cannot get involved because if I get any bit of money from the property, the people that were harmed will come after me for money. The only thing I can do is totally stay out of it. Eventually, I will have to sign off as his heir so they can rebuild (whoever they is), but I want nothing otherwise.
