You are smart to do a test dose. Reclast has a warning as you probably know for anyone with CKD. I don’t believe Prolia or Evenity have that associated renal risk.
I’m a retired RN with ICU & renal care experience so I really over-reacted, unfortunately. I also have mild proteinuria that contributes to the Stage 2 diagnosis. Other numbers are right where they should be.
I asked for the nephrology referral mainly to be reassured I guess. I didn’t know gradual decline in renal function is pretty common as we age.
Let me know how your test dose goes, okay?
I had very good results from Evenity.

Also, my nephrologist recommended healthy weight and exercise as main thing in my control- otherwise just live my life!
