@cloud 60- I fractured in August, as I started to recover and then was recommended to check out Margaret Martin by my endocrinologist , I did. I figured and realized she was a well respected PT in the osteo world so began doing little videos on YouTube , where she has a big presence. Felt with her guiding me I could keep safe while exercising and I’m a OT so have a background in that. From there I bought her books and signed onto her website , that’s filled with exercise and functional information. I go to the gym sometimes and will do that more in the hotter weather. In her books she has exercises that you can do completely in your home. She starts with a Beginner level, then Active , Athletic and Elite. I do exercises with free weights but the positions she has you in are progressive. For example simple forearm curls initially done in standing. In the next level you do them while standing on one foot , so you target one hip more than the input being shared across both hips. So getting more targeted input to each hip ,etc. Also, take that treadmill versus elliptical concept and apply it at the gym with other things you might be doing. Check out her stuff. She does a monthly live stream on a specific osteoporosis related topic. Happy learning!!!

Did you use her book or website or YouTube videos at the most at the beginning. I go to the gym every day and I just don’t have the motivation boy exercise at home . I tried Margaret Martin bc and just can’t get motivated but I go gym for 35-45 minutes per day
