Thank you for the reply! The urologist ruled out nerve damage. He says it just can't happen with a sex toy, as the nerves are too deep. So the stories I've read online must be exaggerated (about nerve damage, it was only one, actually). What must have happened is that the vigorous massage inflamed the prostate. And then anxiety did the rest. My erections have returned, even though they are a bit painful and I have less sex drive, but that is compatible with a prostatitis. I am awaiting results of a semen culture test to figure out whether it's inflammatory or bacterial. In the former case, I'll just have to wait for it to sort itself out... In any case, it's a lesson learned. Again, thank you for the response.
