I ruptured my bicep tendon about 5 months after my PMR diagnosis while playing golf. It was tore at the top of the tendon so I just have to live with the bicep deformity for the rest of my life. This has been extremely frustrating as I am in very good shape and participate in vigorous exercise. I’m sure this is a result of taking prednisone. I hope you only have a tear and not a ruptured bicep!
