Socks - What helps with Neuropathy?

I have neuropathy, but it is only an issue when my feet get hot, or when I'm on my feet too long, then the burning starts. I wear the thinnest, no-show, white socks, but I need shoes that aren't leather or rubber and are well ventilated...any suggestions? I wear work sandals, which help when I'm working, which help. Also, is there anything else that I can do to keep my feet cool, such as a spray or whatever?

Your post caught my attention because I have the opposite problem. Doctors say I have neuropathy. My biggest problem is my feet and legs get so cold. I wear heavy warm shoes and socks, leg warmers, very heavy long pants. Nothing works. They aren't this way all the time but alot. And there seems to be nothing I can do to control it. I haven't seen anyone else complain of this so I have really been puzzled by it. Have you had anyone explain why your legs are so hot? My legs are usually tingly and wierd at the same time, and sometimes my feet are numb. So I find myself in a chair wrapped up in a blanket while everyone else is perfectly comfortable wearing shorts. @pat79
