The incontinence and elevated PSA may be due to BPH. You can try anti inflammatory drugs to see if the problem is reduced. But at the end of the day, you can have enlarged prostate and cancer. Biopsy may not identify the cancer. PSMA PET scan is more certain. That plus MRI is 98%.

A research team in Australia recently conducted a test to see if the PSMA was the gold standard for detecting PC. Their findings published in the 2022 EAU annual congress,(Amsterdam, The Netherlands) They compared PSMA to mpMRI, 240 men were tested. The MRI had a 75% accuracy rate and the PSMA 62%. Lead author DR.Lih-Ming Wong, observed,"our analysis found that MRI scan were better than PSMA PET for detecting any grade of PC. The difference is considered statistically significant.
