Anyone taken Evenity (romosozumab) for Osteoporosis?

Hi Windyshores- I will not try another bisphosphonate- way too scary a thought. and since my doc has no idea why I had the reaction I did we will avoid that class of drug for now; when my next treatment ends I have no idea if I will then have to retake reclast-

Had one set of Evenity injections. Stopped. The adverse reactions were many and severe. I believe Evenity encouraged my body to release all of its inflammation at once. One of my reactions was that I ached where I never had before in my shoulder joints and my arm muscles. It’s been four months. They are improving somewhat…not where they were before the injections.

Okay. I had my first Evenity injections this morning. The facility and staff were great. So far, no side effects. Not even pain or swelling at injection sites. It’s only been six hours, but I had to tell someone. 🙂

It's been 48 hours since the first Evenity injections. So far, no side effects. Not even soreness at injection sites. I feel lucky.

I am getting injections for Evenity I am on my 5 th injection coming up in June . I think it may be working . I fractured my foot 2 times before treatment. My dog and I got attacked by a Pitbul
Thought for sure was fractured again . Thank God it was just a bad sprain . So it must be working .

Did your side effects change with each set of injections or did you have none? Glad it seems to be working!
