Water Testing
I had my water tested and Mycobacterium chimaera 1 CFU/mL was detected but the rest were negative. Has anyone ever had this detection in their water?

I looked at order and it says Mycobacterium Water Test.
Thank you very much. They are quite expensive but I will try.
Yes, that is the correct one. It is expensive but worth it to find out if and how much Mycobacterium was in my water supple.

1 Reactionhi @tconz Since there's one sample per kit, how did you figure out where to draw the sample? Shower, kitchen, etc? Also, how did you find SimpleLab (TapScore)?

1 ReactionSimple Lab was highly recommended through one of my support groups. I chose the kitchen faucet to get my sample from since it is used so frequently.
I have also used Simple Lab twice and although it takes at least a month for the results, it gave me peace of mind that my shower was MAC free so that was worth the money
I live in a condo as well and agree, adjusting the temp of the water heater is not possible. I recently purchased a antimicrobial shower on Amazon. I don't know how effective it is but I thought it would be better than the one I had. I am soaking it in bleach every month to clean it. Here is the Amazon link:
