Ozempic "leftovers"

Ozempic works! Lost 40 pounds. Now have 15 pounds of floppy skin between shoulder and waist. At 65 the elasticity apparently is gone. Short of elective surgery, how can this leftover residue be elimated.

Been working out five times a week since Jan. 1. Weights. Cardio. Toning. Dumbells. Barbells. You name it. Not much to show for it.

Exercise only tones the body, it does not make it lose weight unless one is a professional athlete which I am not. I did a 5k race for charity, burned 300 calories. How many calories in a handful of nuts for example??

Hah! My wife is a water aerobics instructor and lifeguard! Not really my cup of tea.

Lol! Men usually do not do water aerobics, but we have a man in our class who never misses. But, like you it's not everyone's "cup of tea".Have a good day! Pat

Check the labels on your food items that you buy. They usually list amount of calories per serving, on the outside, to give you an idea of calories in foods you eat.
I know my step watch usually comes up "short" compared to what the calories I think I should burn 🔥.

I’ll chime in only to say that not everyone loves Ozempic. It was prescribed it for my Type 2 Diabetes. I used it for 3 months and was constantly nauseous and vomiting 2-5 times per day. Yes, I lost weight but was miserable. The weight has quickly returned—probably because I can now eat without vomiting. Perhaps one gets over being nauseous.

I’m nervous about asking my dr about ozempic for weight loss. I’m 37 years old, 5’2 and 220 lbs. I’ve tried workouts and healthy eating but nothing changes. Could ozempic give me that boost for change?

What dosage of Ozempic are you taking? I just started at 0.25mg yesterday.

I’d be cautious of elective surgery. My hubs took Ozempic because he’s Type 2 diabetic. When he came off it, he gained 8# in a week and finally leveled off after 20# gain.

Change slowly your eating habits. Slowly cut back on trigger foods. With me, being lactose intolerant it was simple logic to cut dairy, then deep fried foods, then egg products, less gluton, no junk, no sodas, no diet sodas, lot's of water, black coffee. Fresh foods become the staple. If you can, grow vegs during the summer. Learn about herbs and spices. Quality food is delicious. Salt and sugar are big problems with our food supply, cut them as much as possible. This has helped me lot's over the years. 5'3, 126.8lbs. 75 years with heart issues so can't do much exercise. Yoga, therapeutic massage, spiritual practice really help.
