What are the best adjustable beds?

@sallyb827 If you are simply looking to be able to elevate the head of your bed, many foam and hybrid mattresses are compatible with adjustable bases. The bases can vary from very simple - raise the head only, using a corded control, to very elaborate - split for 2 people, adjustable throughout, zero gravity, dual cordless remotes...
We were not sure it would help us (it does) so we started with the simplest adjuster we could get. The jury is still out on whether we will upgrade to something more elaborate.
One thing to note, if you buy a split queen or split king, it requires 2 separate sets of sheets. The king are easily available - they are twin extra long. For the queen, availability and choices are less, but you can get them by mail order.

There are several sheet makers that have a split king set. Not sure about split queens, although I would guess they do. There are also sheet makers who will make the exact size you need. I am forgetting the name of the one I used years ago, but they did an excellent job. It’s a national company.

I am still looking for an adjustable bed that goes in trendelenburg (SP) position but not a hospital bed. The hospital beds are too narrow. I was looking at ALL the adjustable beds until a little over a year ago when I had the sleep study and was on an adjustable bed.
I had the worst nerve pain from my osteoarthritis spine that I have every had in my life. My back needs to be straight but the head of the bed elevated due to acid reflux.
I have my (1950's bookcase headborad bed on blocks but that raises the bookcase part more than the actual mattress.
I have a wedge pillow that I take with me when I have to spend the night away from home.
Does anyone know of a double bed that will raise the head and keep the back straight, (Incline position)?
