Has anyone done Reclast with stage 3b kidney disease? My eGFR is now 36 or 41 (if I drink a lot of water). My doc wants to do 20% of the usual dose as a test. I need to preserve gains from Tymlos and am exploring various options.

That’s very borderline kidney function for Reclast. I think 35 eGFR is the cut off. I have mid-60s-70s and was concerned but after my 1 Reclast infusion, it hasn’t seemed to affect it so far.
I would be cautious…
I think Prolia is preferable for those with moderate to severe renal disease.
There’s evidence that reduced/half dose works as well or better than the full dose- if I have again I will do that and also 18 -24 months apart.
Let us know what you decide to do! Good luck 🍀.
