Atrophic thyroid, has anyone dealt with this?

This just was discovered in a Ct scan for my case of lung sarcoidosis (I also have mgus). My appointment with an endocrinologist is two weeks off. I’m wondering what treatments others have had for this.

@pcb, I added this discussion to the Endocrine System sypport group as well. @irhon79 has mentioned that they lost their thyroid due to atrophy and may have experiences to share.

Do they believe the cause is from treatments you've had for MGUS or sarcoidosis? Or thyroid damage due to autoimmune disease?

Thanks for responding. I will see the endocrinologist next week. I’m not on any sarcoidosis meds. I’ll check the endocrine group. Thanks again
