I'm not sure if you have seen these research articles on tinnitus but thought I would share them with you.
Hi, that is a good question. My husband doesn’t have tinnitus, so I don’t have first hand knowledge of that potential benefit of Signia hearing aids. I can say that he’s had it for three weeks, and it’s the best one that he has had so far. My husband has severe-profound hearing loss in one ear. Now he enjoys high definition music, plus the hearing aid uses artificial intelligence to tamp down and nearly eliminate background noise like door slamming. Now he can tell which direction sound is coming from for the first time. He hears me more often too, like while he’s running water and washing dishes. Unlike other hearing aids, he’s wearing this one all the time too because he says he’s now hearing sounds he has not heard before. It’s really improved our quality of life together.
My husband developed tinnitus after stifling a sneeze 8 months ago.Had first episode of vertigo, 2 months ago, which doctors attributed to tinnitus. Vertigo is accompanied by severe vomiting and much worse tinnitus. ENT doctor found nothing. CT and MRI showed nothing. Episodes are becoming more frequent. Any ideas about cause or treatment?
Have you already been referred to a doctor or physical therapist for a treatment called the Epley Maneuver? It is used to treat vertigo in some people. Also go to Mayo Clinic website and search for vertigo treatment. Perhaps I am stating the obvious but I hope you can get some resolution for the vertigo.

The study was conducted by using a type of trans magnetic brain stimulation being monitored by technicians, using different sounds at different ranges.. purpose was to retrain auditory nerve .. results are still pending in the study , still waiting for results .. was by Susan ShorePh.d at U of Michigan, Ann Arbor
