@srose be careful coming off Prolia. Most people need to transition to another drug, usually a bisphosphonate, at least for a time, because there can be a signficant drop off in bone density when leaving Prolia (and increased fracture risk). I am sure your doc can tell you if this is a risk for you.

Thank you for your reply and helpful information! I was not aware of this…another reminder that educating ourselves about our health and the medication we take is so important. I thought I was pretty attentive to all of this, but I didn’t do as much research as I should have before going on Prolia a few years ago. My doc said I should so I did…
The unknowns about my dental needs feels too risky to continue with Prolia. I meet with my doctor in a few weeks, last took Prolia in September.
I just had a bone density scan and compared to 2 years ago, there were no changes.
