My friend had that & finally went to ENT she said it was a small cyst & infection she took antibiotics but it still itches a little bit but she goes back for a recheck soon
My ENT finally gave me ear drops (cipro) ,itch was gone for a month and now it’s coming back slowly.A friend’s ENT recommended to put a drop or two of apple cider vinegar for any ear problems, I haven’t tried that yet.
I had an episode of sudden sensorineural hearing loss 9 months ago. 4 months in I had tremendous itching, burning and tingling on the exterior left ear and in the canal. The neurologist thought the hearing loss and these symptoms may have been a varicella zoster reactivation or shingles (herpes). I took valcyclovir anti-viral for 7 days and the itching, burning, tingling stopped. I had a Covid booster shot 6 days prior to this happening. Hope that helps.

I have an itch ear for a long time. My ENT Doctor told me to go to the hearing aid department and but there over the counter lubricating drops, called Miracell ProEar for irritated ears. This has worked very well for me. Ask your Doctor about these drops.

Yes. It over the counter. I believe most hearing aid suppliers carry it. Or your ENT Doctor can tell you where you can get it. One bottle has lasted me close to 2 years.

Could be seasonal allergies. Try an antihistamine.

Please don’t put anything in your ear without talking to your own ENT doctor. Ears are so easy to damage and so hard to repair.
Thank you very much ❤️
I think you could be correct, thank you
