I scheduled my first Evenity injection for May 23 which is right after I finish Tymlos. I, too, am comforted by this site. Not everything I read makes me feel better, but I feel like I am in great company!
As I have said before, my endocrinologist and my rheumatologist are both involved in this Evenity treatment. I was nervous about the increased risk of heart attack and stroke although that seems minimal from what I've read.
My cardiologist gave me a clean bill of heart health. When I went to my migraine doctor (neurologist) this week, I told him about the Evenity and my concerns about stroke. To my relief, he knew a lot about Evenity and offered to send me for a Carotid artery scan and a brain angiogram to look for blockages. He felt like I would be at no additional stroke risk if those were clear. So, I will have those tests next week.
This is the most medical attention at one time that I've ever had. I do not enjoy it, but I feel that I have to follow this plan. I've given up some activities that I was enjoying just a few months ago for fear of falling and breaking a hip. So, I will report back after my first Evenity dose.

Good luck! I am looking forward to hearing how it works for you. Fingers crossed there will be no side effects.
