Saw a surgeon about that but , since you can’t really Belch after that surgery it’s off the table for me . I have way way too much gas built up inside me to jr be able to expel it in the hundreds of burps .
There is no way I can keep it inside my body . My intestines also carry so much gas too .
I’m on a 10 yr journey, as long as my heart ♥️ palps stay at bay I can live w/ this . It’s horrible and very stressful and overwhelming but it’s my life .
I haven’t given up yet .
Thank you 🙏
Did you have a nissen fundoplication surgery? If so, how long ago? I had that 2 and a half months ago and after the surgery I had excessive belching and it was horrible but like some 6 or 7 weeks after it got better and now it's normal, best of luck!

A possible cause to consider is bad bacteria in your intestines. Be sure to take a Soil Based Probiotic to battle this problem. Also Google “How to destroy bad bacteria in the gut”.
Hello Rosy, I'm so study about heading what you're going through, I had gastritis, gerd, barrets esophagus, suggests clearing my throat and always felt something stuck in my throat, hernia, belching hundreds of times and I went to see Dr Darido in Houston, he told me I had to do a nissen fundoplication surgery and he scheduled it within 2 weeks, recovery was very tough, but after almost 8 weeks I feel great! No more pain, no more acid reflux, no more belching, even though it took a while but I'm finally feeling great! Do a research and don't give up! You just need to go to the right doctor, contact me if you want more information, best of luck!
Thanks but I heard you cannot belch at all after that surgery and I have so much gas build up not only in my gut but in my intestines and colon . Unfortunately most always comes up ( even though it so far down digestive trac ) as deep wet belching . I have to be able to get that out 700 -1500 x a day and night .
I did talk to a surgeon about it and he told me that you can’t burp ( also read if you are prone to throw up ( which I’m not ) you can’t do that either . That’s very dangerous as you can aspirate . I’m on sucraflate pills 💊 as if two days ago . I think it takes a couple weeks if it is going to help . I’ve tried it all . So glad you finally got healed . What a blessing.

Hello, I guess it just depends on the surgeon, I am able to burp and I still do after the surgery, as a matter of fact, the first week was excessive burps like 120 every day but now it's normal, my sister had that surgery 20 years ago, and at first she was not able to throw up but thank God nothing ever happened. Now over time, she is able to throw up if she needs to. Sucralfate is a great medicine, I took it for a long time and it stopped working. I hope you get a lot better and God bless 🙏🏻

If I was in Texas not FL , I’d go see your Dr.
Unfortunately that’s not an option for me .
I deep wet belch over 1000x day / night ( the worst being 5-8 am ) and Noon 🕛 til 3 pm .
Sometimes it’s over 2000x .
No acid but they are very deep non stop wet belches .
I am very careful w/ my diet for years and years and even did Keto and Gluten free which neither helped me .
I’ve given up on any Gastro Drs here in FL . I went to Mayo Clinic. Jacksonville , spent 4 k for 3 outpatient tests in 2021 and even that Dr had same 6 diagnosis but really couldn’t help me . It’s ongoing battle , plus it really makes me so fatigued because I don’t sleep 💤 well even taking Ambien.
I love hearing that people actually get better ❤️🩹. You are def one of the lucky 🍀 ones . Thanks …
Has anyone taken Elavil for excessive belching? If so what were the results?
Ken, have you started taking Elavil? Is it helping the excessive belching?
I have not started taking it and don't think I will. I do not believe my belching is anxiety or stress relayed.
