What is Grover's disease of the skin?

I did the fresh/frozen Cilantro for over two years and believe it was a great benefit as my itching eventually disappeared for quite awhile. At some point a couple of years ago I surmised that the oil must have the same chemical properties that the fresh does, so I started to use it. As I mentioned, I just had a recent, but relatively small, outbreak after a period of remission. I immediately started to take the oil again, but two droppers instead of one. I can say only this: my itching has been minimal and dissipated to the point that I use my Cortisone cream sparingly. I am, at least up to this point, quite fortunate. My initial outbreak a number of years ago was awful. However, it has never returned to that level of irritation and I seem to be able to control(?) it with the Cilantro oil. It is quite disturbing that so little is known about this disease that causes so much emotional pain and physical suffering. My heart goes out to those who deal with this on a daily basis in a far more serious way than I have experienced.

Our breakout history is similar. I have read that some only experience one break out and have no recurrance. I had one full year then for 2 years my pattern was 6 months of activity and 6 months of dormance. It was still miserable but not disabling like the first year and with each break out it was slightly milder. That all ended with my last major break out in 2019 that is when I learned about cilantro on this site. Since there is little known about GD and cilantro helped us I will continue to use it when a recurrance even though mild happens. Yet I have to wonder if these mild breakout, barely noticeable, are simply part of the naturally progression of the disease or if starting up on cilantro again gets rid of reintroduced heavy metals.
