I also was recently diagnosed with aplastic anemia, but was told that it was likely age related, as I am late 70's. The initial diagnosis was MDS before having a bone marrow aspiration biopsy, so sought a second opinion at a leading cancer clinic, and that diagnosis was aplastic anemia after blood work up and a bone marrow aspiration biopsy. No treatment plan yet, just monitoring the WBC, RBC and platelet levels. I had a total of five Moderna shots, and do wonder whether there is a causation here, but that is all water under the bridge. Need to keep looking forward.

I agree. You will never know how this happened and same with me, I’ll never know either. As much as we would like answers we need to keep looking forward. Thoughts and prayers to you! Keep on going!!!
