What a great story! I have tried to have our local news do a story on transplants, to get the word out, and met resistance. I am both touched by your story and the news channel that prioritized this as a newsworthy story. Thank you for sharing!

@cmael This is a wonderful story! I read it with tears in my eyes, and goosebumps! My husband received a deceased donor kidney October 1, 2016. We both have had "donor" tags on our licenses for decades.
