Has anyone had bone pain from G-CSF shot that did not subside even after taking Claritin or ibuprofen? Did anything else work for you? I’m on day 5 after my g shot and the pain is really hard. My oncologist suggested I take Claritin twice a day but it does nothing for me. Thinking about forgoing the shot for my remaining cycles but worried about the risk of infection.

Hi. The injection you are taking is probably neulasta. I had horrific bone pain in my jaws and hips. Worse than the chemo. I tried so many pain meds and nothing helped but the regular Claritin - not Claritin D taken the day before and day of and day after my shot worked for me. Good luck
