My husband has had neuropathy for over 6 years. When he is in pain l massage his legs with Amlactin. Then give him 2 Tylenol. He goes right to sleep. He is very active for a 91 year old. He swims and has PT. All these things help him deal with his pain. Amlactin is over the counter and can be found at Costco. There a stronger prescription form that you can get from your doctor.

Hello @mmorrison41 and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. So sorry to read of your husband's neuropathy pain, however, it sounds as though the pair of you have found something that is working well!

Thank you so much for sharing so that other members can benefit. Did a doctor tell you about Amlactin or how did you come to find it?

I'm wondering about the Amlactin as well. I started using it just to soften my callouses but noticed an increase in pain. Is there anyone else who has had a positive or negative experience with the 15% Amlactin?
