Keep Fighting

My wife and I visited with one of my doctors on my Mayo care team yesterday. We reviewed my recent tests. The CAPTEM chemo is still working and my blood work looked good. My stage 4 pancreatic NETs to my liver are still shrinking. We have a great relationship with this doctor. She looks at me and said, "When I first met you, I didn't think you were going to make it. You were in such bad shape. But your recovery has been remarkable. It is a credit to you and your wife for following the plan when we know how hard it was. But after 8 months, brought you back to life." Keep up the fight.

That's fantastic news! The CAP/TEM combo has also worked well for us also. We got 80% reduction in mass on pancreas and liver lesions, and I hope you will continue to achieve the same results, and possibly surgery to get the rest, to reset your chances from NET's. Please continue to share your great results.

My wife has blessed with an opportunity to really get this down to only a mtn item going forward. As many on this forum will tell you, of all cancers to have this one gives you a fighting chance to beat it with a good cancer care team, and if fighting it as you have in your case, with result in good results well into the future staying on top of all the monitoring checkups going forward. Keep up the good fight and you will make it! 🙏🙏
