I struggle "mightily " with the side effects of ADT ( Lupron & Zytiga). I have accepted this result as part of getting well. I've done 8 mos and have 16 to go. It is soul crushing but "do-able". Good Luck to all of us.
Head hurts bad brain fog not good from this injection
I was on Lupron for 13 months, some 3 month shots, some monthly. It was noticeable but manageable, mostly fatigue.
Are you going to stay on Xgeva?
What is benefit analysis you know of?
Not to much I just called his dr . 4 days not feeling good so far !
I have been feeling foggy on it and washroom difficulties
Want to know benefit versus other concerns r my root canal teeth
I fear my mcrpc cancer in spine could jump to my jaw bones then big issues
That might better be a question for your oncologist or urologist. I don’t know alternatives to Xgeva.
Why do we even need it?
Does it have such a benefit versus just taking more calcium

Dr. Did not consider it a problem to take me off the Xgeva when I got necrosis of the jaw. He did urge me to keep taking calcium supplements.
