Call again +1 205-930-2950. Option 2. Ask to see the nurse practitioner Summer Powers or Dr. Jordan Vaughn. Summer has had successful treatment as a patient and started treating others as a result of her success. She also teaches at UAB. I couldn't get them to call me back easily, but once I became a patient, there is an immediate response from the portal messages.

Brittani Stephens is my contact there. She’s amazing with texting me or calling with any questions. Good luck to you!

Oh my goodness Lauraellis, I called and the person that answered was sketchy about whether Summer was there or not and then she said she will be back next week. I guess word has spread about them being able to diagnose and treat patients. I will call again every day until I get through. If you have any contact info at UAB for Summer, I would love to get it. I tried finding it myself and was unsuccessful. It stinks because my life is on hold until I can get this testing and treatment done. Thanks again for reaching out with this information. Good luck to you!
