The article that @johnbishop gave a link to is excellent.
I don’t understand how 2 genetic counselors could refuse to see you! This is important for you. How old are you?
Your PCP could possibly explain the results well enough but I still think a genetics counselor could better explain what it means for you and especially your children- if you have any.

Thanks for your comment. I have seen my PCP again and she understands that I want answers but has none for me except that the studies she has read says there is nothing to do about my mutation. I am 55 and have 2 daughters one of which is Heterozygous for the C677T and A1298C.
