My 25 year old son recently experienced symptoms of psychosis

My son recently had a psychotic break (first time). He is 25 years old. He had been living on his own and held a job since he graduated from college with honors. He was taken to the hospital where he was for weeks. The doctors told me he had been severely depress for a long time and was diagnosed with depression, anxiaety and bipolar disorder by one doctor and schizoaffective disorder by another. I am so confuse as I see my son and hardly recognize him. From being a highly motivated, highly intelligent young man to see him hardly able to carry on a conversation, expressing strange thoughts that he truly believe, it is heart wrenching. He can no longer live by himself and doubt he could hold a job as he thinks everybody can hear his thoughts. The medications makes him very lethargic and slow as well. Is there anybody our there that had gone trough this with a loved one that can help me, help my son. There has to be something that can be done. Can somebody help?
