Nebulizer Brand Suggestions please
I have a Philips Home Nebulizer. Compressor Nebulizer System.
Could you all please give me your input as to what is the best brand /kind to get ? If this breaks on a Friday, I will have No Nebulizer for the weekend and that scares me. I need a back up. The model number I have is 1130530, Philips.
Is there a particular one you think would work better, or is better?
I appreciate your responses. Thanks. bon

i have a Pari ProNeb Max and a Pari Vios. If the electricity were ever to go out i have two that run on batteries: Pari Trek with rechargeable battery and I also have the Omron Mesh Nebulizer that uses regular batteries.
I have the Philips Respironics Innospire and it takes about 7 minutes for 4 ml saline. Not expensive either. https://www.directhomemedical.com/innospire-essence-compressor-nebulizer-respironics.html
I have an all house generator though so I don't have to worry about power outages.
I have the same nebulizer but use 7 ml saline. We’ve never had a power outage but have a gas powered generator if we have one.
Is the Omron a portable one? What model is it? Can you nebulize hypertonic saline with it?
J
The Omron is operated with regular batteries so yes it is portable. It is a mesh nebulizer which generally does not work well with saline but they say that this one is compatible with saline. I have not even tried it yet but i have it in case the electricity were to go out or my Pari Trek rechargeable was not charged.

liz440, is your Phillips a tabletop model? Either the Innospire Elegance, or the Innospire Essence? If so, how loud is it? I am looking for something that is quieter than the one I have, which is louder than my vacuum cleaner. My husband can't hear the tv in another room when I am using it.
I have the elegance model table top type. I can watch tv/internet video with it on so it is not that loud and I have it sitting on a small metal table that vibrates a bit.
That sounds lovely! I think I'll give that one a try. Thank you for replying.
