Looking for answers to deal with vertigo and dizziness
Looking for answers for vertigo/dizziness 17 months ago diagnosed with vertigo BPPV..after several sessions with ENT therapist it subsided/I have a underlying problem now with central vertigo. I have been to many practitioners for this problem. (4 balance therapists). I've had several MRI's, brain, vestibular system (eyes, ears) all are negative. I have no abnormalities. I have very few headaches. Also, 2 MRI's of cervical neck with 4 bone spurs that have resulted in radiating pain in the neck that travels down the right side of my back and into my shoulder and into the right bicep. I've had 2 steroid injections in c-7 and have had some relief with that. I'm a 76 year old female and have always been an athlete. Last stop was Neurology. No help there Dr suggests that I've picked up some kind of virus and eventually it will go away??? 17 months?? What are thoughts about Phyzer vaccinations which I've had 4..first one was March 2021, by the 3rd shot on Oct 4th 10 days later I have vertigo/dizziness....any help would be appreciated.

Kathy, is it possible that you've developed orthostatic hypotension, a sudden drop in blood pressure with quickly standing up or other movements? I believe Mayo invented the tilt table test as a diagnostic tool. If that is what you have, a remedy is to avoid sudden motions, especially upon standing up. If you haven't been tested for it, then it could be worth looking into.
I fell twice in the shower. Sometimes the heat could be a factor. These are called vaso-vagal episodes..
You might want to get a shower chair, put down a nonskid rubber mat, apply adhesive nonskid surface strips, or install handrails. Also avoid quick motions, especially up and down.
Thank you! I’ve been drinking like warm coffee!
My original surgery was done by Dr. Richard Marsh. In Minnesota. I’ve been out of right side pain since then.
Tooth pulled lower left. Now that side is having the same pain.
