How to pack cleaned Nebulizer equipment and Aerobeka while on a trip
I have to be on the road early and after treatment and cleaning, there will not be enough time to air dry my equipment. Are there any suggestions. I nebulize with an aerobeka 2X day.

@muon Welcome to Mayo Connect. I'm glad you are committed to keeping up your routine while you travel.
This is what I do - I have a "travel kit" that includes a small sealable container (about 1/2 quart), a tiny bottle of detergent, and a ziploc baggie of folded paper towels, all sealed in a gallon ziploc with my handheld neb & my saline & levalbuterol. After nebbing, I use the container to soak & wash my Aerobika & nebulizer mouthpiece, shake them as dry as possible and place on a dry paper towel. Then rinse & dry the container, line it with a dry paper towel and seal my Aerobika & mouthpiece in it. When I arrive at my next destination, the first thing I do is take them out, rinse & place on a clean paper towel to dry. This method has served me well for about 5 years, and we travel often.
Do you think this could work for you?
Tanks you very much Sue, yes, I will definitely try this!
Like Sue, I have a travel kit. Mine includes a collapsible bowl for soaking, a folding baby bottle dryer rack and my Trek S nebulizer. I take 2 nebulizer cups. Use one in the morning and then toss it into a baggie in your kit and go. When you arrive at your destination, wash and sterilize the cup you used that morning and let it dry overnight. Use the other cup for your evening nebulizing and wash/sterilize that cup and let it dry overnight too. The next morning, you have 2 clean cups. One to use immediately and one to use later. Be sure to label your baggies -clean vs dirty.
Just a note that I remembered, I will be traveling in a van with a small group and at times it may be 10 hours before we reach our hotel, so maybe I will take another set of nebulizing equipment and re-clean the first set when I arrive at the destination. Thank you again.
Thank you kwi, the recommendations from you and Sue are very helpful.
Thank you, Sue, for this very helpful information! We are going to be traveling extensively during the next couple of months and I was stressing about sterilizing my aerobica and nebulizer cups. I appreciate your suggestions!

Thank you, kwi! By sterilizing, you mean soaking in soapy water? I was thinking I had to boil my equipment as we travel, but soaking is sufficient that’s what I’ll do!

When I’m traveling I soak the neb cups in soapy water (in the collapsible bowl) and then use those sterilizer bags for baby bottles in the microwave since most hotel rooms we stay at have a microwave. I’m not 100% convinced that is as good as boiling, but otherwise you have to bring an electric pot of some sort. Others have recommended a collapsible electric pot they have bought from Amazon.
Thanks Kwi. My understanding is that you cannot place the neb cups nor aerobika directly in a boiling pot because if it touches the bottom of the hot pan it may melt. Do you use some sort of strainer suspend the neb stuff in the hot pot?
I am planning a trip in August for two weeks on a tour though England, Scotland, and Wales. Many days we will be traveling on a bus. I nebulize and use the Aerobika twice a day. Suggestions on keeping my equipment clean and sterilized. Using microwave bags in a foreign hotel does not seem like an option.
Any suggestions?
