I have been on Prolia for 8 years. My right hip went from Osteoporosis to Osteopenia which was good news. I have a Bone Density every 2 years and in January 2023 it had declined by -2 which was still Osteopenia but a little disappointing. I have never had any side effects and have had dental work done (with no issues) but definitely planned it months after an injection.

Do I understand you to say you have been taking Prolia for 8 years based on a DX of osteropenia?

When you say that your most recent bone density scan "declined by -2," could you please share the actual reading?
