My daughter was disabled with SM since 2008. She's now an adult and it's a nightmare in the adult SSI world..her hearing is next month. Multiple bowel resections, continued aggressive growth, TPN dependent. We have 57 people in a support group if you're interested I can give it to you. Private group.

Hi Mark, my email is lisas444@yahoo if you want to talk. There is another guy that is 31 that was approved recently. I have the Order and am using it. Do you have an attorney? My kiddo has had 17 abdominal surgeries now . . she's still alive.... no quality of life, several months a year inpatient . . .TPN dependency, etc. My name is Lisa btw! 🙂

I am SO glad to find this site! Sent to the ER in early november, found the scar tissue mass. I have been out of work for the last 4 months, many CT, PET, and Biopsies....I am currently awaiting travel to University of Michigan. All my doctors have said I have SM, but a formal diagnosis is pending. This is absolutely debilitating! I would appreciate any guidance, this has wrecked my life and so incredibly painful.
