Still being evaluated, but there is a whole lot of completed studies to consider. In general the study outcomes indicate areas of pain where CBD was no help at all, other cases where it may help but use other methods first, and still others where the authors conclude it does help in certain types of pain. A mixed bag for sure.

The matter of pain and human growth is symbiotic, yet pain may offer insight into a developing condition. I marvel at the use of canines to detect neoplasm tissue growth and the reluctance to more development of this as a diagnostic procedure. My issue with CBD is that it may be useful, or just a reason not to question its source. There needs to be established methods of determining its purity. Of course, the reduction of levels of pain and the source that triggered it and neuroactivity research continues to offer incredible insight and progress..
