Gabapentin and Cymbalta
I am taking 300mg of Gabapentin twice a day and my neurologist seems to feel pretty strongly that I add 30mg of Cymbalta. Does anyone else take this combo? I really hate adding new medications!

Have you checked with Loma Linda neuropathy clinic in California it's free to call and yet I had a free video conference with a MD they say that it's Cutting Edge and that they're the only ones that have the INF treatment that they use and that they do a lot of testing I have type 2 diabetes neuropathy and my feet and legs and starting in other places and my regular MD has done no testing I'm waiting to see a neurologist but from what I've read and heard I don't put a lot of faith in that yet I hope to be able to maybe go out to Loma Linda and see what they can do they claim that some people that have had no feeling for years have been able to have feeling in their feet that have been numb the first treatment or two
What is Temazepam my doctor has been increasing my Gabapentin in the last year and one thing that seems to counteract it is the coffee that I drink it seems to affect the neuropathy in my feet the American diabetic Association told me that caffeine would affect the nerves I just have not been able to stop drinking it I'm so achy when I wake up in the morning from degenerative disc from sciatica I just haven't been able to quit drinking coffee I pray about it and I'm going to have to stop because I'm really believe it's affecting my neuropathy Loma Linda Medical University neuropathy Clinic does a lot of testing when you're in their program they said the first part of it is testing and ultrasound and other test as well as treatments called INF you can call them for a free consultation and talk to an MD about it no cost for the consultation
@jeanniem I am on 3600mg of Gabapentin that isn't helping the burning pain in my feet so last week my Neuro added 30mg of duloxetine and it is tearing up my stomach: bloating, gas, diarrhea. I already have an Inflammatory bowel disease so I can't wait this out to see if it will go away. I have an appointment today, so I am going to ask for an alternative to add to the gabapentin or see if I need to taper off and start something else entirely.

I guess everybody is different.

I drink decaf. coffee & if I was to go out for dinner, then I have a regular cup of coffee.
You have all the same problems I have. I feel like dying bc the pain is so bad.
The only relief I get is from a hot bath.
I hope you get some relief. I would like ot know more about the Loma Linda. I live in Az.
