Severe stomach pain
I have had several years of pain in my stomach and not sure what to do. i have had ibs, acid reflux, gastritis, internal hemorrhoids. A few months ago I had a slighly irregular Z line, mildly erythematous found in the antrum and nodules were found in the ascendingn colon.
I have taken xypaxin for pain but it no longer helps. I throw up daily and have diarrhea, I have headaches. My stomach cramps so badly that I can go anywhere because of the pain. What should I do?

Gallbladder pain is usually on the right side. Have they ran function tests on the Gallbladder? I had pain episodes & went to ER 4 - 5 times last year. Images taken never showed anything. Finally saw a surgeon who said that images don't always pick up everything. The pain disappeared after I had GB removed.
Keep pushing the docs, folks when they tell you that they don't know what is wrong with you. I had problems for 6 years prior to finding the cause of my nausea, vomiting, weight loss and pain. I was finally given the pill cam, which got stuck in my small intestine. This MADE the docs do surgery.....where they found a 10 inch ulcer in my jejunum......right where I kept telling them my pain was located......imagine that. The doc removed the ulcerated tissue, did a side by side anastomosis. So far, so good. My prayers are with you all.
Check out the Mals Section. It sounds a lot like it.
Hi, Have read your story (and many others here) with much sadness. So hard to be in one's golden years and in so much pain and discomfort. I had similar issues that went undiagnosed for years. One day an old friend of mine suggested I try her chiropractor. Seriously. And I know that not all chiropractors are the same, but this guy really helped me, even though I was skeptical at first. I have other comorbidities, but when this particular issue rears its wretched head, I now know what it is. I visit this amazing chiro. once a month now for maintenance and have been greatly helped. Apparently one's muscles involuntarily tighten up as a means of protecting the bones. And when this happens, nothing, helps to alleviate the pain. The chiro also told me that sometimes gentle heat can help. Just a thought......
This may be a real long shot but have you evaluated the oxalate content of what you eat daily, and tried reducing your intake should it be high? I had a big work up too for endless pain everywhere it seemed and it wasn't until I reduced oxalates that my pain condition went away. If your intake of oxalates has been high, one needs to taper down a high intake to avoid going into a oxalate "dumping" mode. Dumping leads to feeling worse. If you love chocolate, nuts, spinach, beans, soy, bran, almond milk. beets, etc. you may well be suffering from oxalate overload. Although doctors fixate on oxalate build up in the kidneys in the form of stones, oxalates have been found to reck havoc elsewhere too.
A lot of my pain and true with my test except two breath test saying SIBO ( which many drs say too many false positives) stool test was neg for SIBO only one blood test showed high inflammatory markers so they say IBS . Gut cognitive therapy, no dairy, sourdough bread only ( too many say gluten free products have too many additives) stretching, excersise , tons of water and tried every antidepressant with horrible side effects to help relax the brain to gut .

Does anyone struggle with a gnawing burning pain just above belly button, often a little to the right where the head of pancreas connects with duodenum?
The pain radiates to a dull pain in a belt that wraps around my back when I stand. I cannot be up with food in my stomach because the pain becomes unbearable! Lately also nausea after eating but not every time. Lots of rumbling. I have reflux and a hiatal hernia plus IBS and slow gallbladder.
I've suffered many years from pain above bellybutton that has come and gone but since December it has been constant and I've been more or less bedridden. I get some relief a while after eating that lasts one or 2 hours but sometimes that becomes nausea instead and it feels like I ate a soap. To me it feels like my stomach but I have never ever found a single person with esophagus or stomach problems that manifest above belly button. My pain is not under breastbone or heartburn.
For 10 years I have tried to verify what organ causes the pain but failed and now Im stuck in bed with no visual finds on endoscopy (haven't gotten biopsy back yet). No explanation on abdominal mri just asymptomatic gallstones and some fat deposits in liver and pancreas.
I never have cramps and I don't suspect small or large intestine. I would just like to find someone who have that pain pattern
I have pain below that area, seems possibly connected with coffee
