Thank you. I've been there while visiting Florida 6 years ago. That's not quite the East Coast. I live in New Jersey.
Okay, well then you are right there at John Hopkins who has the #1 Neurology Department in the world. Florida is on the East Coast…FYI
I used a tens unit, doesn't seem to help much though!
I’m thinking about having one also. Which company has the best and what is the cost?
I had a spinal cord stimulator trial last week. Once I figured out how to use the stimulator when my nerve pain started it was a game changer. All I had to do was change the program to vibration mode for 10 minutes or less and it immediately stopped the pain and it never restarted. I decided to have the real one put in this up coming Friday. I have used and done everything else there possibly is out there putting off a spinal stimulator out of fear of having a foreign body placed in my body. It truly did help me tremendously and it can always be removed should it stop.
I am sorry for the confrontational remark about Florida being on the East Coast. That was rude and completely unnecessary. I took out some frustration on you. Who cares what coast Florida is on. We have much bigger fish to fry. Please accept my apology.
I have the Boston Scientific stimulator. Have very limited success with this device.
Hello, I am new to this site. Seventeen months ago I was in a car accident that changed my life forever. Suffered two broken bones and found out I have ostoprosis. I am under a pain management doctor that has helped me greatly. First of all he is a wonderful christian man whom I trust! I am sixty four and lack one more year before I can retire due to health insurance. I also suffer from servere depression. It is all I can do to work eight hours and pray that my master will make a way. I can't afford not to work and I can't get medicare until I am 65. I am considering the pain stimulator. Just had the nerves burned so I'm praying that will help. Therefore if you know the Lord as your personal savor I am pleading that you will join me in prayer and asked to Lord to help. As I read the posts I realize there are so many that are suffering, I will remember you as well. Sometimes in life we have limits where we can help someone. What we can do is Pray to the one that has no limits.
I join you in prayer, Donna. I prayed for you today, and I prayed for all of us suffering from the pain of incurable conditions. On my toughest days, I take inspiration from [St.] Paul, who continued his relentless, tireless evangelism, tho his prayer for relief from his side pain went unanswered. God's grace was sufficient for Paul, and I pray it will be for each of us as well, until we're delivered. Thank you for your inspiring post, Donna ! - Your sister in Christ Jesus, Linda
Why do you think some people have success, others limited success and others not at all???
