I can't eat before doing anything - even a granola bar makes me later unable to walk about without shortness of breath. Many days when I need to walk I skip meals until I'm back home to rest, which makes my cardiologist a bit testy. I was approved for surgery last year but we've switched to getting me enrolled in the Camzyos program, which will help, I hope!

Exactly how mine is been dealing with this for years and telling my doctor about it! Always was told its either exercise induced or allergens in the air! It wasnt until i had two back to back heart failures that i was diagonosed with HCM severe LVOTO 122mmHg
Started me on camzyos to get me to feeling better to await surgery! After 3 weeks on camzyos 31mmhg
I could not believe how much better i feel althoufh im a ways away feom being 100%

Oh my gosh - same here. Can't do anything remotely aerobic with food in my tummy! Will have shortness of breath and sometimes even dizziness climbing stairs or, Heaven forbid, trying to do the elliptical at the gym!
