I am so happy and relieved to tell you that my large anal tumor is gone! I’m feeling a little lighter today! I still have a few issues though. The anal wall is thickened and I will have a PET scan on Monday to take a look. My doctor says it’s probably from the radiation or just inflamed from treatment, so I am not too concerned. I’m glad he’s being very cautious. I still have stomach issues and will see my gastroenterologist on Tuesday. She will schedule my first colonoscopy since treatment. I waited 3 months to get to this day. I was riddled with anxiety. Cancer drains everything out of you, but I made it to the other side, and it’s a great feeling!

Hello @rioa21,

I'm so pleased to hear your good news and I'm glad that you have some plans for follow-up and that you will be seeing your GI doctor next week.

If you are comfortable sharing more, would you mind sharing what type of "stomach issues" you are having? Are they related to the treatment you had for the cancer or were they existing prior to the cancer treatment?
